“Warriors in Praise” Youth Worship Team”
Youth learning Prayer, Praise and Worship is a lifestyle dedicated to God
“She is faithful, committed, compassionate to Gods’ youth, transitioning them from not just worldly dance but worshiping before the Lord in dance.”
Sister Tanisha Roberts
Aspiring Youth Minister & Department Leader
Sister Roberts’ Testimony:
“I have made many mistakes in life, I thank God He saw past my faults and saw my need for Him, heard my cry and answered me. In the mist of my troubles God call my name to come before Him in worship through dance. The Lord gave me the confidence and strenth to answer Him the call, to God be the Glory. Amen. I am dedicated to the youth of this world teaching them to stay before the Lord, regardless how hard times may become“.
Praise & Worship to God is a Lifestyle
“Unpretentious praise and worship pleases the Lord. He delights in the love and devotion of His children. According to the scriptures, the various expressions of praise bring blessing to the Lord. He eagerly awaits the fragrance of our affections, desiring to manifest His sweet presence and power in our midst. “…the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him”
(John 4:23).
There are many actions involved with praise to God — verbal expressions of adoration and thanksgiving, singing, playing instruments, shouting, dancing, lifting or clapping our hands. But true praise is not “merely” going through these motions. Jesus spoke about the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, whose worship was only an outward show and not from the heart.
“This people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me”
(Matthew 15:8).
Genuine praise to God is a matter of humility and sincere devotion to the Lord from within.
